Windows Fails Again!

The Windows partition just fell apart, again. So, I think we're going to attempt to switch to Linux.
If I can get everything up and running in Linux, we will no longer use Windows.
If not, I will re-install Windows XP, again, and all the software, again, and configure it all, again.

In the mean time, we've got another system to work with. It's slower, by a long shot, and there are some things we can't do on it, but we can run the station's basic needs for now.

ACCOUNCEMENT REGARDING SOL DOG!

"SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FROM REV of Sol Dog!
After eight and a half years of fronting Sol Dog, I've decided it's time to move on to whatever comes next. My last date with Sol Dog will be the show at the Black Duck in Westport, CT, on December 8th. It's been an awesome 8 years, and I couldn't possibly list all the great memories I'll be taking with me. I hope everyone out there stays in touch with me as I move forward into the next phase of my musical life. Whether Sol Dog goes on without me or not, I wish them nothing but the best. In the meantime, you've only got a few more chances to see the original lineup of the band, and I sure hope many of you will come out for one last hurrah with me as I finish up my tenure with the best band I've ever been in.
Don't forget that music is magic and don't let the memory of all the great music die!
Voof!
-Rev"

Volunteers Wanted!

WitchCast is looking for Volunteers! Our biggest need is for somebody to find artists, and after approval, contact them asking permission to play their music and for them to send us a CD. This requires very little computer skills, so don't think you have to be a master tech to help us out. Although we could use a few tech savvy people as well.

If you're interested, contact us at JoinTheTeam@WitchCast.com
Tell us what skills you have, and how you would like to help the station!
If you've got computer experience, please include what operating systems you have experience with and what computer equipment you have access to.

Hard Drive Issues - Update

Well, the hard drives are still making strange sounds, however, I don't think it's the drives we originally thought it was. It seems to be the 2 RAID 0 drives kicking in when the pagefile is accessed. This explains a lot.
However, I believe it's just louder due to them being slimmer than drives I have previously owned. None of the drives are showing any signs of failure.
None the less, we've back-up WitchCast's stuff.

I know we haven't had new music in a while. We're definitely working on it. There are a few disks that seem to have not made it to CT during the move. We are working diligently to find those disks. I know a few were stolen and I have to get new copies.
I'll keep everyone posted right here on WitchCast.com, thanks for listening to WitchCast.
